Daily Maintenance and Care
1.Regular inspection
Check the brake pad wear condition every shift. Replace them when the thickness is only 1/3 of the original (about 0.5 cm) or when it is parallel to the limit mark.
Check the friction marks on the surface of the brake disc. Minor scratches are normal, but if the depth is too deep or the surface is not smooth, replacement is necessary.
2. Cleaning and Maintenance
The working surface of the brake wheel must be flat and smooth to prevent substances such as oil and water from entering and causing slipping.
Regularly clean the surface and interior of the brake to remove oil stains and impurities, and keep it clean and unobstructed.
3. Hydraulic System Maintenance
Check for brake fluid leakage from the brake calipers. If leakage is found, it needs to be repaired.
The hydraulic oil should be replaced every two years. If it deteriorates and affects usage, it should be replaced immediately.

Handling of Abnormal Situations
The machine should be immediately shut down for maintenance in the following situations:
A shrill screeching sound is emitted during braking (direct metal friction).
Insufficient braking force causes the hook to run away.
The brake temperature abnormally rises and there is a burnt smell.
Cracks or deep grooves appear on the surface of the brake disc.
By strictly implementing the above measures, the service life of the brake pads of the crane can be effectively prolonged, ensuring the safe operation of the equipment.
