Misunderstanding in Model Selection
It is believed that YT1 and ED/YTD can be directly interchanged: YT1 is an old cast iron shell, with different installation hole distances and shape compared to the new ED/YTD. The hole distance is incorrect and the device cannot be installed; the old equipment renovation must include the brake bracket for verification.
"Z" is regarded as an explosion-proof mark: Z = no-load spring standard type; ZB/ZC are spring-equipped special types; explosion-proof should be checked with Ex dⅡBT4 / MA like this; ordinary Z-type entering the explosion-proof area is illegal.
Greater thrust is safer: If the thrust does not match the brake spring, too much thrust will cause the actuator to move too vigorously, damaging the seal and accelerating the wear of the brake shoe. Choose the thrust force based on the brake release force multiplied by 1.5 to 2.
Installation Misunderstanding
Install randomly horizontally or upside down: The mainstream of YT1 is vertical and upright installation (motor at the bottom, push rod upward); horizontal installation must have the balance air chamber facing upward and the entire device able to swing; the piston rod must not bear radial force; otherwise, it will get stuck and leak oil.
Ignore "leave 5 mm for working state": The lower end of the piston must have a space of ≥ 5 mm from the bottom of the cylinder when working; installing it all the way down will crack the cylinder cover.
Use the pusher as a support: The pusher connection block only transmits axial force; using it to bear the weight of the crossbeam and as a limit stop will lead to premature failure.


Misunderstanding in Oil Addition (Most Common)
Add too much oil: Just add enough to be level with the oil overflow screw hole; if it is higher than the oil overflow hole, oil will leak from the push rod or the motor shaft after power-on and heating.
Do not change oil in winter and summer: Use DB-25 transformer oil at normal temperature; for temperatures below 0℃, do not change to YH-10 aviation hydraulic oil or low-temperature oil; the thick oil will prevent the impeller from rotating and manifest as "no power when powered on, like a burnt motor".
Mix different oils: Mixing transformer oil, anti-wear hydraulic oil, and used engine oil will cause emulsification, foaming, and gas blockage, resulting in the pusher not being able to move fully.
Do not exhaust air during oil addition: Pull the pusher several times up and down without filling the oil cavity; there will be air in the oil cavity, and the pusher will stop halfway during the first power-on.
Operation Misunderstanding
Motor without oil or with insufficient oil: The impeller will burn out after a few minutes of dry rotation, and it will also damage the piston - it is necessary to check the oil level before powering on.
Use the pusher when the voltage is below 85%: YT1 motor is small (0.06 - 1 kW), and when the voltage drops below 85%, it cannot be pushed and will heat up; on-site, it is often mistakenly judged as "the pusher is broken", but it is actually a power supply failure.
Do not stop the pusher when the power is cut off and it is a malfunction: It is actually the failure of the brake return spring or the connecting rod is loose; the motor is not in the pusher.
Misadjust the throttle screw at the factory: For those with S/H time adjustment, the factory setting is approximately 5 seconds; some people adjust it all the way out, resulting in large impact, oil leakage, and after adjusting, the blind plug is not tightened and dust enters.
