How to measure H1

Power-off brake status measurement (reference value)
Disconnect the power supply of the pusher, activate the spring brake, and fully retract the push rod. Use a steel ruler or caliper to measure:
The top plane of the pusher push rod → The vertical distance from the upper surface of the pusher body to this point. This is the current H1.
Different specifications of H1 have different rated values.
Auxiliary judgment during power-on release of the brake
Power-on and let the Ed pusher travel to the full height, then measure again. The difference between the two values = the actual working stroke of the pusher. This is mainly used to verify that the pusher itself is not stuck and the oil level is normal. It is not directly used for adjusting H1.


Simplified daily inspection method
In many sites, without disassembling the ruler, directly mark a mark on the push rod or use the oil window line of the pusher cylinder body to check if the "lift height" is lower than HBmin/H1min. If it is lower, arrange for adjustment.
How to adjust H1 (compensation adjustment after pad wear)
Core action: Rotate the brake pull rod to change the opening position of the brake arm, and return the push rod by the amount of the expansion.
Steps:
Release spring force: First, reduce the main spring force to the minimum - loosen the nut, rotate the spring pull rod to make the spring seat move to the vicinity of the free position (to avoid the spring getting stuck and not moving when adjusting H1).
Close the brake: In the power-off state, rotate the pull rod in the opposite direction to make the two pads tightly contact the brake wheel.
Raise the push rod to the rated H1: Continue to rotate the pull rod in the same direction, the brake arm is slightly opened, and the Ed actuator push rod is subsequently lifted. Measure H1 while rotating, until the rated H1 value on the nameplate table is reached.
Lock: First, tighten the locking nut on the pull rod, then restore the main spring compression to the set torque position.
If equipped with an automatic compensator (for some Ed actuators): For normal wear, there is no need to move the pull rod; the compensation disc will automatically absorb the wear amount; only when a new pad is replaced or the compensation stroke hc is exhausted, should the compensation locking bolt be tightened to reset.
