Daily Inspection Checklist
Daily/Pre-shift Inspection (Operators)
Visually inspect the appearance of the brake for no oil stains or abnormal attachments.
Listen to the running sound. There should be no sharp friction or abnormal impact sounds.
Measure the temperature of the brake housing by hand (or with an infrared thermometer) and compare it with historical data.
Check the status of the brake indicator light and alarm device.
Test the emergency braking function (in accordance with the procedures)

Weekly inspection (by maintenance personnel)
Measure and record the wear of the brake pads to ensure it is within the safe range.
Check the brake clearance and adjust it to the specified value.
Check the fastening condition of the fixed bolts, with a focus on the key connecting parts.
Check the surface condition of the brake discs/drums for no deep grooves, cracks or uneven wear.
Clean around the brake to ensure the heat dissipation channels are unobstructed.
Check the pressure, liquid level and leakage of the hydraulic/pneumatic system.
Check whether there are any loose, oxidized or overheated traces at the electrical connection points.
Monthly/Regular Checkup
Conduct a comprehensive inspection of the overall alignment of the brake.
Test the braking torque (in accordance with the equipment safety regulations)
Check for fatigue and deformation of transmission components such as springs and levers.
Lubricate moving parts with the specified lubricant.
Calibrate sensors and monitor the accuracy of measuring instruments.
Verify the correctness of the control system logic and delay settings.
Check the availability of the backup braking system

Annual / Overhaul Inspection
Disassemble for inspection and conduct a comprehensive assessment of the wear and aging conditions of all components.
Replace all components that have reached their service life, regardless of their current condition.
Check the thickness, hardness and deformation of the brake discs/drums.
Test insulation resistance and withstand voltage strength (electrical brake)
Clean the hydraulic/pneumatic system and replace the filters and seals.
System re-debugging and update of equipment files
