Before installation, the flexibility and reliability of each component should be checked. The friction pads of the brake pads are fixed firmly. The friction pads fixed by rivets should be sunk into the lining by about 25%.
1. Adjustment of long-stroke brake.
1) Loosen the adjusting nut, turn the bolt to make the block shoe hug the brake wheel, and then lock the adjusting nut.
2) Take out the roller, loosen the nut, and adjust the clearance between the fork plate and the pad shaft pin. It should be consistent with the clearance of the brake shoe return stroke, and its value should meet the relevant regulations.
3) Loosen the magnet adjustment nut, turn the adjustment screw, and adjust the electromagnet stroke to comply with the relevant regulations.
4) Lift the electromagnet with a crowbar, measure the brake shoe gap under the state of pull-in, and turn the adjusting screw to make it meet the specified value. After the gap on both sides is equal, tighten the adjusting nut.
5) Loosen the adjusting spring nut, clamp the square head at the tail of the drawbar, turn the nut, and adjust the installation length of the working spring in accordance with the relevant regulations.
2. Installation and adjustment of short-stroke brake.
1) Loosen the adjusting nut, clamp the square head of the end of the jack, and turn the adjusting nut to make the end of the jack open the armature, so that the adjustment of the armature stroke conforms to the relevant regulations.
2) Loosen the spring compression nut and use it to push up the uprights on both sides of the bearing bush until the armature is in the state of suction.
3) Adjust the limit screws to make the gap between the left and right brake shoes equal to the relevant regulations, and lock the nuts.
4) Adjust the nut to make the working spring reach the installation length, and screw the nut back to lock.
