The braking device is an important part of the hoist, which is related to the safe operation of the hoisting equipment. It consists of a brake (actuating mechanism, also a brake) and a transmission device.
The brake device of the hoist is used to decelerate, which is to control the rotating speed of the hoist drum, so that the hoisting wire rope and the heavy objects carried by you can run within the speed range you require.
There are mainly 4 advantages, as follows:
1. The hoist can be reliably braked when the hoist stops working, that is, it stops normally.
2. Participate in the control of the hoist in the deceleration phase and when lowering heavy objects, that is, working braking.
3. When an emergency occurs, the hoist can be braked quickly and satisfactorily, that is, safe braking.
4. The double drum hoist should be able to brake the live drum of the hoist and loosen the dead drum when changing the level, adjusting the length of the wire rope or changing the wire rope.
