Crane Used Electric Hydraulic Brake

Our industrial drum brakes are designed for applications that require safety devices to prevent various industrial machinery such as cranes, cranes and winches from running out of control.

We use several different types of fail-safe drum brakes in our industrial braking system, and work with our customers to select the ideal brake that suits the specific requirements of their industrial applications. Our spring-loaded drum brakes are released (or kept open) using electro-hydraulic thrusters, electromagnetic or pneumatic devices.

Fail-safe drum brakes are ideal for use as holding brakes, emergency stop brakes, and other braking applications that do not generate extreme heat.

Compared with industrial disc brakes, drum brakes offer several distinct advantages, including generally cheaper, no overhanging loads on the shaft, and requiring less space due to their compact configuration. However, drum brakes cannot handle high friction speeds like disc brakes, so they may not be the best choice for applications involving high shaft speeds.
