Why Does The Brake Vibrate When Braking And How To Solve It?

Sep 11, 2025

1. Why does the brake vibrate during braking?
The most common cause is uneven friction on the brake pad surface, resulting in uneven thickness.
It could also be due to an installation problem, such as crooked installation of the brake shoe, loose bolts, or insufficient bracket rigidity.

2. How can I fix the vibration?
Replace or repair any deformed brake discs, brake drums, defective friction pads, or parts that cause sticking.
Cleanse any oil or rust, tighten bolts, and adjust the installation and clearance.
